Ulises Torres Cordero, MD, MEHP, FACS  is a highly respected surgeon, educator, and healthcare leader with expertise in adult education, quality, team leadership, advanced ultrasound, specialized nutrition, complex wound care, and surgical excellence. As Chief Quality Officer at the George Washington Hospital Center, he drives initiatives to enhance patient safety, surgical outcomes, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Master of Education in the Health Professions (MEHP) from Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Torres is dedicated to faculty development and curriculum innovation, transforming surgical training through simulation-based learning and competency-driven education. His leadership in advanced ultrasound applications and complex wound management has shaped institutional protocols for trauma resuscitation, surgical site infection prevention, and critical care strategies.
